In Osun state of today, The race of who becomes the next occupier of the Abere governor's office is now getting more intense. The intrigues is however not between the ruling APC and the Opposition PDP, but an internal squabble which had made leaders of APC not only clearly divided but now taking to verbal attacks and insults. The first salvo was fired by an APC chieftain Fatai Diekola who was once an ally of governor Rauf Aregbesola but now a proponent of Deputy speakr Lasun Yussuf. Diekola had boasted on friday at Lasun Yussuf's empowerment programme to have been the one who brought Aregbesola to power from Lagos and ready to send him back. Diekola may however be facing stiff reaction from Osogbo his town and political base, as some leaders of the party are also matching up with him in utterances. One of those is Pa Kayode Esuleke, a staunch APC chieftain in Osogbo, at the inauguration of newly elected party executives of WARD 12 in Osogbo tongue lashed Fatai Diekola.
