Teens Arrainged For Intent To Steal
Two teenagers have been arraigned before an Osogbo Magistrate court, Osun-State for intent to steal.
The two accused persons Kolapo Ayuba(18yrs) and Sikiru Fatai (19yrs) were arraigned on two counts charge ofconspiracy and intent to steal.
The prosecutor, Mr. Dopamu Olukayode said the offence of
conspiracy to wit and attempt felony is committed on 18th, February 2017
at about 11am at Alagbara street, Ayekale area, Osogbo .
He said "Did unlawfully jumped into the compound of one
Engr. Babatunde Adeyemo with intent to commit felony therein to wit
stealing".
Mr. Dopamu said the offence contravene section 516 and 509 of criminal code cap 34 vol.II Law of Osun State of Nigeria, 2003.
The two accused person pleaded not guilty to the two court charge preferred against them.
The counsel to the accused, Mrs Adeyinka Dada applied for the bail of the two accused persons.
She said " on the face of charge sheet the alleged offence
are bailable one and bail is at the discretion of the court so I
therefore implore the court to exercise it at the favour of the two
accused".
The two accused person are ready to provide a reliable sureties and they won't jump bail if granted bail. "She added".
The Magistrate, Mr. Olushola Aluko granted the duo on bail
with the sum of N50,000 each with two sureties in like sum and adjourn
the case till 7th April, 2017 for mention.
