How Police, DSS Saved Osun Capital Territory GM from Mobsters!
TimeNewsNg learnt on good authority that Hassan Afolabi had shortly after the incident written a letter to the governor who was in lesser Hajj, describing how he was "beaten to a pulp" by the mob with the security agencies doing nothing to rescue him. This, TimeNewsNg learnt puts some security officials to scrutiny and reprimanding as they were accused of negligence of duty in allowing mobsters to unleash terror on a government agent. This video however proved otherwise as Hassan Afolabi was indeed rescued and whisked away by security agents.
Hassan Afolabi who also spoke with some news platforms accused journalists of bias reportage. investigation however showed that Hassan Afolabi actually gave himself up for the beating that would have been meted out on him if not for the intervention of these security agents. He made his way into the irate crowd with the apron of the Osun State Capital Territory Development Authority, with a his phone, taking pictures of the protesting crowd. And when he was asked about his identity he simply answered "i am a government agent". It was during this melee that he was identified as the chairman of that agency . It was at that point that it all changed for him as the protesters went haywire but for the vigilance of the police and DSS that saved the day.
