VIDEO:Osogbo Students Riot Uppdate: Two Peace Corps, One Student Arraigned

Three persons including two men of the Peace Corps have been
charged to court following a fracas between students of Technical College and Osogbo
Grammar school, Osogbo.

Four persons were wounded in the fracas and three were
arrested by the police on Wednesday.

Students of Technical College, Osogbo had accused the Peace
Corps members of supporting students of Osogbo grammar school whenever there was
any misunderstanding between the two sets of students.

When the three arrested persons were brought before an
Osogbo magistrate court on Thursday, the Peace Corps members pleaded not guilty
saying they were not involved in the fracas.

They claimed that they never extorted money from any student
but only prevented the Technical College students from gaining access to Osogbo
Grammar School.

In the meantime time, the court has denied oral bail
application for the accused persons and adjourned the case to April the 10th.
