VIDEO: Downpour Wreaks Havoc in Ekiti!!!
A heavy rain on friday in
Adebayo and Oke- oriomi areas of ado ekiti, the Ekiti state capital has wrecked
havoc destroying property worth millions of naira.
Some of the victims who spoke to our
correspondent said the rain started around three in the afternoon, with heavy
storm, blowing off roofs and buildings, as well as electric poles in the area
.vehicles parked on the road side also damaged.
The most affected area was isato
street, along the old governor’s office, where the incident had redendered the occupants
of the affected houses homeless.
This is the first major downpour in
ekiti state this year. The rain started at about 3.pm
and ended 5.30
pm where roofs and electric
poles were littered all over the street by the storm .
Some of the victims have started
counting there loses and calling on the state government to come to their aids.

Company was called immediately so as to disconnect the wires from the poles.
So far, no lives were lost.
