BREAKING : Justice Ademola Discharged And Acquitted

Justice Jude Okeke of an Abuja high court

has discharged and acquitted a Federal High Court judge, justice Adeniyi Ademola and others on the allegation of money laundering levelled against them.

The trial judge dismissed all the 18- count charge on the grounds that prosecution failed to establish a prima facie case against the accused persons.

Justice Ademola alongside his wife and a senior advocate of Nigeria, Joe Agi were arraigned on alleged money laundering and they pleaded not guilty.

Justice Ademola was among the judges arrested by the Department of State Services in October, 2016 during a sting operation.
