“Sack of Lagos Chaplain is in order”, CAN backs Governor Ambode



The Lagos State Government has circulated a press statement to the media detailing what it said was a proceeding of a press conference by the Lagos State Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria over the recent sack of Femi Taiwo, the presiding chaplain of the Chapel of Christ the Light, owned by the government.

The statement quoted the CAN leadership as backing the government on the sack of Mr. Taiwo and absolving the wife of the state governor of any blame in the incident

The statement was signed by Lookman Seriki, the public affairs office at the state’s ministry of home affairs.
