Breaking: Osun West By-election: APC Appeal Panel Dismisses Hussein's Appeal, Postpones Primary Election
The All Progressives Congress Appeal committee has postponed the party primary election earlier scheduled to hold on Monday, June the 12th.
The primary election which is expected to produce the party candidate for the July 8 Osun west senatorial by-election will now hold on Tuesday, June the 13th.
The Abdullahi Bello led appeal committee also dismissed an appeal filed by an aspirant, Senator Mudashiru Hussein, who was disqualified by the sanusi Rikiji led screening committee yesterday.
The information is contained in a statement made available to newsmen by the publicity secretary of the APC in the state, barrister Kunle Oyatomi.
Senator Hussein was on Sunday disqualified by the screening committee, leaving the younger brother of the late Isiaka Adeleke as the sole aspirant.
The Rikiji led screening committee in a letter said it disqualified Mudashir Hussein for being a cabinet member in Osun state contrary to the APC 2014 guidelines which provide that " aspirants seeking public office on its platform shall not have remained an employee of the public service within 30 days proceeding".

Mudashiru Hussein, an aspirant for the vacant seat of Osun West Senatorial primary election earlier scheduled to hold today June 12 2017. The election has now been postponed till tomorrow, Tuesday, June 13, 2017".
The screening committee had on Sunday in a letter disqualified Hussein for being a cabinet member in Osun state contrary to the APC 2014 guidelines which it says provide that " aspirants seeking public office on its platform shall not have remained an employee of the public service within 30 days proceeding".
TIME NEWSNG reliably gathered thatSenator Hussein who claimed to have resigned his position for which he was disqualified, had approached the appeal panel, seeking justice.
