Just In: INEC receives voters’ signatures on Dino Melaye’s recall

The Independent National Electoral Commission has received signatures from the electorates in Kogi West Senatorial District, asking for the recall of Senator Dino Melaye from the Senate.

Six bags containing the signatures of 52.3 percent of the electorates from the zone and other petitions, were submitted to the Commission in Abuja on Wednesday.

Over 100,000 electorate in Melaye’s Senatorial District in Kogi had appended their signatures for the recall of the controversial senator.

Melaye had been in the news in recent time for all the wrong reasons.

He is currently embroiled in a running battle with the Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello and others.….
