Osun West By-Election: APC crisis Deepens, as Adeleke Plans Last Minute Defection To PDP?

Following the ongoing confusion and uncertainty trailing the primary election of the All progressives congress for the forthcoming Osun west senatorial by-election, one of the two aspirants vying for the party's ticket Otunba Ademola Adeleke appears to be on his way out of the party.

Strong indications emerging from his camp and the main opposition party PDP in the state laid credence to the rumours making the round about the planned defection.

Otunba Ademola Adeleke leaving the APC state Secretariat after his screening on Saturday.

TIME NEWSNG spoke with the publicity secretary of the PDP Ali-Modu Sheriff faction in the state, Prince Bola Ajao earlier and he  said "Don't jump the gun, let's see how things play out tomorrow"

There has been bad blood and strong division in the party since another aspirant Senator Mudashiru Hussein, believed to be the anointed candidate of the governor of the state, Rauf Aregbesola was disqualified by both the screening and appeal committees, but, was later reinstated as an aspirant by the national working committee of the party in Abuja.

Adeleke  solidarity group through one Dele Adeleke had at a Press conference in Osogbo yesterday accused Aregbesola of trying to cut corner and win favour for his 'beloved' candidate, saying the postponement was to that effect.

The APC primary which is expected to hold tomorrow, has been postponed twice within three days.

The People Democratic Party has also postponed its primary election till Wednesday.
