Freed Epe School Boys:17 kidnappers Killed During Rescue Operation - Owoseni

A total of 17 kidnappers involved in the abduction of the 6 School Boys of the Igbonla Model school Epe,  Lagos state were killed gun battle during the rescue operation by the police.

One civilian helping the police in the operation also lost his life,while four others sustained injury.

This is according to the Lagos state commissioner of  police, Mr Fatai Owoseni while speaking on a national TV on the concerted efforts of security of the police in successfully securing the release of the students.

Mr Owoseni who disclosed that seven policemen were injured during the rescue operation,stated that no policeman lost his life.

According to the police boss,  security measures are already being put in place to ensure maximum security in all the schools across the state.



The six boys were rescued in Ondo state Friday afternoon,after 64 days in the den of their abductors.
