My "Suspension" Laughable- Banire

The embattled National Legal Adviser Muiz Banire SAN has reacted to his suspension from his ward and local government as laughable.

Banire in release he personally signed and shared on social media,  said he remains the substantive legal Adviser of the ruling party, describing the said suspension as handiwork of the Lagos state government.

He claimed that the essence of the suspension was to intimidate and embarrasse him with the hope that he will resign his position.

According to Banire only the National Executive  Committee of the party has the authority to remove a national officer like him.

"My attention has been drawn to a press release,  purportedly emanating from the Lagos state government on behalf of some miscreants parading themselves as members of the All Progressive Congress  APC. Assuming,  without Conceding that these were genuine members of the party, it is evidence of the crass lawlessness"

If these crooked were members of the party,  they would know that by constitution, It is the National Executive  committee  that can remove a national officer of the party,  responsible for the 36 states of the federation and the FCT"

I therefore, urge the members of the public to ignore these undesirable and mischievous elements together with their antics. Their actions show are their desperation to foist lawlessness on the party and the citizenry at large".
