I Never Said I'll Commit Suicide If Buhari Returns Alive- Fayose
The Governor of Ekiti state Ayodele Fayose has denied the statement credited to gim that he will commit suicide if president Muhammadu Buhari returns to Nigeria Alive.
Against the backdrop of President Muhammadu Buhari's return to Nigeria on Saturday, scores of Nigerians went on to mock Fayose, a strong critic of president Muhammadu Buhari as to when he will make good his promise to commit suicide if Buhari returns alive.
But in a statement released by Special Assistant to the governor on public communications and New media Lere Olayinka said the governor had never for once made such promise stressing that it is a rumour orchestrated by the presidential media team.
"Buhari Media Centre (BMC) Now Circulating A Statement Purportedly Made By Gov Fayose.
The statement read;
"I will Commit Suicide If Buhari Come Back
Alive."

Kindly disregard this statement as it did not
emanate from Gov Fayose.
It is their usual way of shifting the people's
attention from the real question Nigerians are asking as to the whereabouts of the President. At no time was such statement made by the governor." The statement ended
