Ondo Assembly Confirms 18 Commissioner Nominees

The Ondo state house of assembly has confirmed eighteen commissioner nominees sent to it by governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

After two weeks of screening by members of the Ondo State house of Assembly committee on Selection, eighteen commissioner nominees appear before the plenary for confirmation.

The Assembly confirmed the nominees at todays plenary presided over by the Speaker of the state House Of Assembly, David Oloyelogun.

All the nominees, appeared before the assembly and were asked to take a bow.

The commissioners are:
Taofiq Abdulsalam, Rasheed Badmus, Solagbade Amodeni, Adegboyega Adefarati, Saka Yusuf Ogunleye, Mrs Omowumi Olatunji-Edet, Ojogo Donald, Yemi Olowolabi.

Others are; Dr Wahab Adegbenro, Funso Esan, Wale Akinterinwa, Emmanuel Igbasan, Olurimisi Ismaila, Femi Agagu, Bayonle Ademodi, Lola Fagbemi, Timilehin Adelegbe, and Kola Olawoye.

Two of the commissioners who spoke with Adaba FM news, Yemi Olowolabi and Rasheed Badmus, expressed readiness to discharge their duties for the development of the state.

They commended the lawmakers for their thoroughness during the screening process.

With the confirmation, the stage is set for their swearing in by governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
