Court remands 2 teenagers,other in Prison Over Alleged murder In Osun



An Osun State Magistrate Court sitting in Osogbo,the State capital, was on Friday ordered the remand of three cult members over an alleged murder of one Bintu Anifowose.

The accused persons  were members of Black Axe confraternity with their names;Ibrahim Diekola, (19),Amos Aderibigbe, (21),and Yomi Olaosebikan aged 19.

They were also arraigned before the court on the 4 count charges bordering on conspiracy,murder among others.

It was gathered that the deceased, Anifowose,was allegedly shot by the alleged trio while she was on an expedition to a building construction for survival as a Labourer.

The Prosecutor,Sergeant Sunday Ajayi briefed the court that the accused persons  on the 5th of August,2017 at about 6:59am at Old Garage Area,Osogbo shot Bintu Anifowose with gun and eventually resulted to her death.

He added that the offences committed contravened sections 324,516,316,64(a)(b).of the Criminal Code Cap 34 Volume. II Laws of Osun State 2003.

The accused's pleas were not granted due to the high gravity of their offences and Magistrate Habibat Bashir ordered that the accused  be remanded at Ilesha prison.

Bashir thereafter adjourned the matter to 27th of October,for mention.
