Eid-L-Kabir: VOK Felicitates Muslims, Promises Better Ekiti

gress APC in Ekiti State, Bar. Victor Olumuyiwa Kolade has congratulated Muslim faithful in Ekiti State and far beyond, on the occasion of this year Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

The Governorship hopeful also congratulated all Ekiti indigenes and Nigerians who have been able to undertake the Hajj this year in fulfillment of their religious obligations.

Kolade in a Press Statement issued by his media office and made available to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti, urged  Islamic Faithful to offer special prayers for peace, harmony, unity, security and progress of the state and Nation at large.

The APC Stalwart pointed out that it's not good enough for the Muslim faithful to imbibe the spirit of generosity and patriotism only to forget such virtue afterward.  

He urged them to meditate on the immense benefits the state and nation can derive from a greater exhibition by its people of piety, honesty, selflessness, tolerance, peaceful co-existence with others, equity, fairness and justice for all, which are  integral part of the message of the Holy Prophet.

Kolade use the occasion to assured all well meaning Ekiti people of his readiness to give very focused and purposeful leadership to the state.

The legal icon also reiterated his commitment to make life more abundant for all and sundry in the state when elected to steer the affairs of the state.

While urging Muslims to use 2017 Eid-el Kabir celebration to pray for economy recovery, stability, peace and harmony of Nigeria.
