EKSU Student Hacked To Death By Suspected Cultists

A student of the Ekiti State University EKSU named Ayodele Temilade was on Monday hacked to death by some people suspected to be Cultists.

The incident according to investigation by Timenewsng occurred in the earlier hours of the day.

The Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Samuel Oye-Bandele in an interview with our correspondent confirmed the incident, adding that the student was killed at  Irasa area of the University community.

The Vice Chancellor who explained that the identification of the student has not yet to be ascertained, explained that he has directed security groups of the school to investigate the matter.

Police Public Relations officer in the state, Alberto Adeyemi who also confirmed the incident in a telephone chat explained that investigation has commenced to bring the perpetrators of the act to book.

It would be recalled that another student of the institution, Ojo Samuel Segun was also killed last Monday at Osekita area of the institution.
