Jide Tinubu's Death "Sad and Painful" Buhari, Jonathan Mourn

President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday said he was deeply grieved to learn of the death of Jide Tinubu, eldest son of the National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu.

In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, Buhari  Tinubu on the telephone and offered condolences to his family on behalf of the Federal Government and his (Buhari’s) family.

Describing the transition of Jide as “sad and painful,” the President said that the nation has been denied the services and potentials of the resourceful lawyer.

He prayed that God will grant the Tinubu family, friends and associates the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss, and comfort all who mourn the passage of the promising gentleman.

Also, Former President Goodluck Jonathan has sympathized with the National leader of the All Progressives Congress Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the loss of his first son, Jide Tinubu.

Jide,  died Wednesday afternoon of yet to be disclosed cause.

The former president took to his Twitter page to commiserate with the family.

He wrote "My deepest sympathies to asiwaju and family on the great loss you have suffered. May God grant your son Jide repose in His Bosom. GEJ"
