Video: Lagos CP Imohimi Edgal Indicted In Ambode,Tejuosho's Feud
More facts are beginning to emerge in the ongoing feud between governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos state and the chairman, House Committee on Finance Honourable Funmilayo Tejuosho.
Funmilayo Tejuisho's children were evicted from building No. 3A Sasegbon street, GRA Ikeja on the ground that the building is been allocated for the deputy speaker, with Tejuosho's claim having it that the said building has been sold to her.
The above video showed the forceful act of the Nigeria Police force to seal the house last week Friday and coming back on Monday to eject the occupants.
With serious allegation lying on the door step of governor Ambode for using the police against Tejuosho, more insights were given on the clearing job done by the police as they acted on the order of Acting Police commissioner Imohimi Edgal.
As posited by the deputy speaker Honourable Wasiu Eshinlokun-Sanni that the building was allocated to him in 2015 immediately after his emergence as the deputy speaker, checks revealed that governor Ambode never had the face of the then commissioner of Police Fatai Owoseeni until he was ousted with governor Ambode recommending his class mate( Imohimi Edgal) for promotion from ACP to DCP and Acting CP within the space of three months.
The source who spoke on anonymously claimed that "having his henchman (Edgal) now as the CP, Ambode wasted no time in asking him to detail some of his loyal boys to carry out that dastardly act. We were so shocked at the utter rudeness of those police officers. They even went as far as saying they don't mind being recorded, saying they are powerfully covered by the powers that be."
The closeness of Edgal and governor Ambode had given both of them authority to impunity as you can see with this wanton violation of law and order by both the governor and the CP. And you can recollect that various scandals are hanging around the neck of Edgal himself, the source submitted.
