Breaking: Osun Workers Begin Showdown With Aregbesola; Govt Secretariat Shut

 As Nigerian workers resume from Christmas holiday this morning, this will not be the case in Osun state as civil servants in the state are making good their threat of going on  indefinite strike over the modulated salary been in paid for over two years now.

Leadership of the state labour unions had at last week directed their members not to return to work this week as they say they will no longer take half salary from the state government.

Entrance to the state secretariat in Abeere had been blocked by the striking workers as early as seven not only in compliance with the strike order but also monitor and turn any erring worker back home.
