Osun 2018 Budget: O'YES Cadets Curse Out Over 200 Naira Mobilisation Fee

After waiting for over eight hours, members of the Osun Youth Empowerment Scheme popularly known as O'YES cadet could not hide their anger lividness, after being handed paltry two hundred Naira as mobilisation fee.

The cadets have been at the Osun state House of Assembly premises since early Thursday morning where governor Rauf Aregbesola presented the proposed 2018 budget. The program which did not start until 2pm had the cadets in their fatigues gracing the chairs made available at the outer  space of the assembly.

Troy me however started governor Aregbesola finished the presentation around 6pm and its time for the leaders to give these cadets their mobilisation due. It was to the chagrin of the cadets when they were handed over two hundred Naira each.

Those who could not fight were seen standing perplexed as they curse out at their leader. Some who spoke on the condition of anonymity posited that two thousand Naira was budgeted for each cadet but at the end of the the leader only parted with two hundred Naira.

"I transported myself down here with One hunted and twenty Naira and now after waiting for a whole day, the can only give us two hundred Naira" One of the cadets retorted.

It is not however clear if the two hundred Naira stipend was the original amount budgeted by the cadets' handlers or another case of corruption on the side of the commanders of the OYES cadets.
