Abia State House Of Assembly Suspends Chief Judge; Swears In Acting Chief Judge
Abia State House of assembly has suspended the state chief judge Justice Theresa Uzokwe for alleged gross misconduct.
The house presided over by the speaker Rt. Hon. CHIKWENDU KALU who was supposed to join his colleagues in the annual south east speakers meeting going on in Awka, Anambra state capital, was absent due to the importance attached to the expulsion senario.
The house resolved that the erstwhile chief judge had acted severally on account of misguided attitude and gross abuse of office as the chief judge of Abia State
judiciary.
The former Chief judge Justice Uzokwe was alleged to have Constituted self to a Demi gods that members of the bar and bench allegedly complained of her demeanor.
