Youths Protest Killings By Suspected Herdsmen In Benue

Hundreds of youths on Wednesday  protested against the killing of at least 33 people by suspected herdsmen in Benue state.

The irate youths stormed the popular Food Basket Roundabout in Makurdi, the state capital, to condemn what they called “terrorist killings” in their state.

Armed with placards with various inscriptions, the youths have called on President Muhammadu Buhari to intervene in the reported killings.

Recall that no fewer than 20 persons were reportedly killed by suspected herdsmen on the new year day.
