Oba of Sagamu Loses Queen Two Months After Installation

Barely two months after mounting the throne, the Akarigbo of Remoland in Ogun State, His Royal Majesty Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, has lost his Queen.

A terse statement put put from the palace  reads: “It is with sadness and gratitude to the Almighty God, that the Akarigbo Palace wishes to announce the death of HRM’s dear wife & Olori, Dr Linga Ajayi MBBCH, FMCS , FWACS, FRCS(Ed), a Surgeon at the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, after a long and protracted illness. May her soul rest in peace.Amen.”
