Former U.S first lady Barbara Bush Dies at 92


The former US first lady, Barbara Bush died at 92 on Tuesday,17th of April,  2018. The deceased who was  the wife to the 41st president of the United States of America, George H. W. Bush was described to have been an icon in the prominent political families of the states.
 

Mrs Bush first met her husband when she was a student at an elite preparatory school in Massachusetts at the age of 16. They married in 1945 while he was a naval officer. The couple had six children and they were married for 73 years.

Mrs Bush,  despite being married to a self fulfilling man who ruled the state, was the mother of George W. Bush, the 43rd President, and Jeb Bush, the 43rd Governor of Florida.

As condolences and tributes flushed the world of the family,  several commendations were said as to applaud the life of the deceased.

Her son,  Jennifer Bush wrote : “I’m exceptionally privileged to be the son of George Bush and the exceptionally gracious, gregarious, fun, funny, loving, tough, smart, graceful woman who was the force of nature known as Barbara Bush.”

Her grandson George P. Bush tweeted: “I will miss you, Ganny—but know we will see you again.”

Barack Obama and his wife Michelle said “We’ll always be grateful to Mrs Bush for the generosity she showed to us throughout our time in the White House.” “But we’re even more grateful for the way she lived her life –- as a testament to the fact that public service is an important and noble calling; as an example of the humility and decency that reflects the very best of the American spirit,”

Madeleine Albright, who under Democratic president Bill Clinton was the first woman to serve as US secretary of state, described Bush as a “woman of incredible determination, wit and compassion who embodied America’s best values.”Bush gained a reputation for toughness, wry humor and straight-speaking.
