Earlier on Thursday a group of supporters visited him, in his country home. 

An Osun State Attorney General, Dr. Ajibola Bashiru who is vying for Osun Central Senatorial District seat under All Progressives Congress has promised his supporters of qualitative representation ahead October 2nd primaries.

In a statement, Dr. Ajibola through his campaign organization headed by Hon. Olaide Ajibola  said, we are confident in winning the party's primaries.

Dr. Ajibola said, "The Campaign Organisation has combed the nooks and crannies of the Senatorial District campaigning at the grassroots and we received accolades everywhere we went.

"It has been endorsement galore across the social strata of the Senatorial District for Dr Basiru Ajibola from communities."

He noted that, "the campaigns had included consultations tour and visits to all the ten local governments, all the wards and every unit in Senatorial District have resulted in interactions with all exco at Wards level and at Local Councils level as well as leaders of the party in the entire District who all adjudged him eminently qualified for the job.

" We are satisfied and confident that with the amount of work we have done at galvanizing support for the aspiration of Dr Ajibola Basiru, we are ready for direct primaries on October 2, 2018.

According to him, "We are using this medium to assure our teeming supporters, members of our great Party and our well-wishers throughout Osun Senatorial District that Dr Ajibola Basiru is resolutely committed to giving the people of the Senatorial District a qualitative representation.
