FAAN Applauds Protocol Professionals For Impacts In Aviation
The Association of Certified Protocol Professionals of Nigeria will be gathering members of the diplomatic world from different part of the globe, Protocol Professionals from various countries, government Representatives, business networks and of course, families and friends of the industry for her 2019 end of the year conference. The event is set to take place in Lagos by November.
This was disclosed by the President of the Association, Hon. Patricia Kenneth-Divine while addressing members of the media during her brief visit to Nigeria from the United kingdom .she said different issues will be discussed during the conference amongst is, "Protocol Profession Enhancing Diplomacy".
Hon. Patricia re -emphasised the need for protocol professionalism for national development. She said Institutionalise and regulating the Protocol industry will provide a platform of practical industry solutions, project the right framework and strengthen both commercial and diplomatic relationships.
Though, the date of the conference will be made known to the members of the public in due time,but just serving as a pre-awareness .
Meanwhile , Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria , FAAN, has applauded ACPPN on their outstanding performance in Protocol Professionalism especially the unique and unmeasurable positive impact they make in the aviation industry .
The MD of FAAN ,made this known during the ACPPN Inaugural at southern sun , As he discussed his own view on the theme: "Protocol and National Development , Trend, Prospect and Opportunities." he says, protocol professionalism is a major tool to an effective aviation Industry.
The MD of FAAN who was represented by the Director of Engineering services, Salisu.N. Daura ,during his keynote address applauded the work of the Association as he spoke on salient issues on National Development. Protocol is a key for nation building and is vital that all organisations promote the industry for effective operations.
He also said ,Protocol is important to the Successful outcomes of the Nigerian Aviation Sector and it will help its Security apparatus by eliminating and reducing the activities of touts, unscrupulous elements in the airport.
He therefore,charge all members to be committed to the noble professions and ensure that the vision is supported. He noted that, FAAN will be happy to work with ACPPN and also collaborate with its programmes to create even more awareness within the country.
In the same vein, The ACPPN President , Hon Patricia, also emphasised on the need for commercial engagements with international organisations and investors to help build the right partnerships that will enhance values for national development.
She also said that there is need for the Association to engage in trade and investment opportunities especially in the development of the Nigerian Aviation sector. She applauded the working relationships established by the federal Airports Authority of Nigeria and said this collaborations means the efforts will be combined to promote better service delivery, positive outcomes and a healthy environment in our airports.
She added that, ACPPN is in collaboration partnership with British school of protocol and European school of protocol.
In a later speech, The Chairman Board of Trustees ,Ambassador Akin Oyateru immediate past High Commissioner to Kenya during his presentation charged members to be aware of the visions of the Association. He also emphasised on the need for regularising the profession for effective collaborations in the future.
The Inaugural Ceremony which was later conducted before a Lagos magistrate had over 45 new members, the Executive Council and Board Members. The ceremony ended with a networking event of protocol experts, businesses and potential contacts within and outside the industry.
Meanwhile, the members had earlier paid a courtesy visit to Nigeria High Commission in UK, After the professional training of the fellow members with the European school of protocol and British school of protocol.
