Following the directive by INEC to all political parties to conduct primaries for all elective positions for the 2019 general elections and resolution of disputes emanating from the primaries before the October 7 deadline, some political parties have disclosed their candidates.
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Sunday emerged winner of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential primary election.
The Waziri Adamawa received 1,532 votes in the exercise which held in Port Harcourt, Rivers state from Saturday to Sunday.
Similarly, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) ratified President Muhammadu Buhari as the sole candidate of the party for the 2019 election.
