Osun Govt To Rehabilitate Major Roads In Three Months

Osun State Government is set to rehabilitate all major roads in the state before the commencement of the raining season.

The Government is also collaborating with the federal Roads maintenance 
Agency, FERMA to ensure all federal raods are fixed.

reports said that road rehabilitation was one of the campaign promises of Gboyega Oyetola during his electioneering campaign.

This is because many major roads are in deplorable state thereby affecting 
Economic activities.

Towards fulfilling the promise, the state deputy Governor led this 
inspection team to Ikire, Apomu, Ikoyi and Ede to assess the state of the 
roads.

Residents are also assured of speedy rehabilitation of the roads.

Rural roads across the state will also be graded to ease movement of people 
and farm produce to urban centres.
