2019 General Elections: Stakeholders Set In Osun


All is now set for saturday's general election in osun state as stakeholders in the electoral process are putting final touches  to their preparations.



TIMENEWSNG reports that electorates have also  expressed their readiness to cast their vote for the candidates of their choice

It is a period of election and the atmosphere has charged and the electorate are ready to exercise their franchise.


The security agencies including men and officers of Nigeria police, Nigeria security and civil defense corps, officers of department of  state security as well as officers of federal road safety commission are positioned in strategic places to maintain law and order before ,during and after the election.


While speaking, Sodiq sola said he hoped that this time around the Independent national electoral commission had fully prepared for the election.


 Sodiq called on electorate to avoid vote selling ,saying this is the time for Nigerians to choose a worthy leader.


On his part, Abiodun jimoh who lauded the security arrangement for the election,expressed optimism that the process would be hitch free.

Jimoh urged security agencies to maintain neutrality and exhibit professionalism before ,during and after the election.

Also speaking bisola olarenwaju called on  electorate to troop out en mass to cast their vote for the candidate of their choice and maintain peace during the elections.




On his part,Osun state Resident electoral commissioner ,Mr olusegun Agbaje said the commission was fully prepared for free fair and credible elections.





Mr Agbaje who urged political gladiators to play the game according to the rules promised that the commission would give all political parties equal opportunity.


Speaking on the level of preparedness of security agencies ,A.I.G in charge of Osun,Oyo and ondo adeleye Oyebade ,said the commission had put machineries in motion  towards a successful poll.



Oyebade assured the safety of residents of Osun,Oyo and ondo states,urging the citizens of these states to exercise their rights without fear and intimidation.
