2019 General Elections:Peaceful Elections in Osun

Governor of Osun state,Gboyega Oyetola has advised the electorates to use the opportunities of voting to express their choices of leadership at all levels in the country.

The governor said this after casting his vote in his home town at ward 1 unit 2B,Iragbiji Osun west senatorial district.

In the company of his wife,Khafayat Oyetola, the governor commended the performance of INEC as he hopes the peaceful conduct witnessed in his ward could be sustained throughout the country.

He affirmed that reports of security threats in few wards within the state have been promptly curtailed by the security operatives.


Aftet casting her vote,Khafayat Oyetola implored the electorates to feel free to exercise their civic rights and cast their votes for the candidates of their choice.

Also joined in commending INEC is the minister of health,Isaac Adewole who described the turnout of electorates as impressive and orderly after casting his vote in his hometown in Ward 7,unit 6 in Ilesha east senatorial district.

 Some Nigerians at various polling units across the state described the election as fair and devoid of vote buying or ballot snatching .

They urged Nigerians to maintain such decorousness in subsequent votings in the country regardless of political affiliations.
