Three People Allegedly Shot In INEC Office Ijebu Ijesa
Ballot boxes and generator set including television set are set ablaze in oriade local government independent national electoral commission office in ijebu jesa.
TIMENEWSNG reports that the political thugs stormed the INEC around eleven o'clock in the night and carried out the dastardly act .
According to reports three people who were allegedly shot are currently receiving treatment in a private hospital.
Confirming the incident,osun state resident electoral commissioner,Mr olusegun Agbaje said The collation centre in ijebu jesa was not set ablaze but some property of the commission was burnt by the political thugs.
Mr Agbaje urged residents to disregard the report that the commission was set ablaze,saying the report was false.
He noted that security personnel had been deployed to the area to maintain peace and order in the area.
