Oyetola Flags Off Rehabilitation Of 332 Health Center In Osun

Tracing the path of the federal government to provide quality grassroots health care services,the governor of Osun state Gboyega Oyetola has flagged off the rehabilitation of three hundred and thirty two primary healthcare centres across the state.
Unveiling the facilities to equip the health centres in Osogbo,Gboyega Oyetola implored health officials to ensure the medical equipment are distributed and utilised efficiently to promote healthy living in the state.
Promising rehabilitation of nine general hospitals in the state,the governor emphasized that the gesture is a complement to the universal health scheme of the federal government tagged 'saving one million lives'
He added that motivation and training of medical personnel in addition to the procurement of the healthcare facilities will reduce the incidence of child/maternal mortality and the spread of communicable diseases across the state.
Commending the governor for according priority to health issues,minister of health, Isaac Adewole hailed the Osun state government for supporting health initiatives of the federal government.

Health officials at the event promised to ensure that Osun state government benefits largely from the federal government through the world Bank grants for healthcare delivery in Nigeria.
