Ekiti Governor Swears-In New Commissioners

Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti state has sworn in 14 additional Commissioners and some Special Advisers as the Ekiti State Government now has a full complement of a cabinet.

The swearing in ceremony held at the  Government House ground in Ado Ekiti  where the Commissioners were first to take the oath of office, followed by the Special Advisers.

Governor Fayemi charged the new appointees to be above board in their various offices.

Governor Fayemi explained in his address that every Local Government Area in the state now has a candidate in his cabinet.


He enjoined the new appointees to hit the ground running and to make probity and accountability their watchword.

The appointment according to the appointees is a call to service.
