BREAKING: Senate Sets Up Panel To Probe Senator Elisha Abbo Over Assault

The President of the Senate, Ahmed Lawan, has constituted a Panel to investigate the alleged assault on nursing mother by Senator Elisha Abbo.

The bi-partisan ad-hoc committee is headed by a former governor of Ebonyi State, Sam Egwu.

The embattled senator is a Peoples Democratic Party member representing Adamawa North Senatorial District, who was seen in a viral video to allegedly slapped the saleswoman at an adult toy shop in Abuja.

The President of the Senate constituted the panel following a point of order raised by the Senator representing Kaduna Central, Uba San.
