Covid-19:Osun Residents Decry Easy Entry-Exit From State As Cases Reduce To Two
As Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun state declared that 6 more patients at the state isolation centers were released due to testing negative twice to Covid-19, concerned residents of the state are raising concern over the the free entry and exit of people to and from the state despite 2 weeks lockdown recently renewed by the state government.
While commending the state govenor for his dexterity in managing the disease, residents however exercise fear over relapse in the gains made by the government so far if the lockdown is not made strict.
In a facebook post made by an Osogbo resident, Beta Wale Adediran raised concern on how people still travel in and out of the state without any reasonable check from security apparatus meant to enforce the lockdown order.
Other comments on the post suggests that the experience remains the same in other parts of the state while relevant agencies are being called upon to swing into action in order not to have rebounce of the dreaded disease throigh free movement of people rom one state to another.
