Niger State On Lockdown Lifts Ban On Jumat Service
The Niger state government today announced that it has lifted the ban preventing Jumat’at prayers in the state. The state government made the announcement today via a public statement. The state government revealed in it statement that the Juma’at prayers will now hold between 11am-3pm under strict safety measures.
The statement said that the lockdown will continue after the Juma’at prayers have been observed. The state has 2 confirmed cases of the deadly coronavirus in Nigeria.
The statement was released on the Twitter handle of the state governor.
