BUREAU DE CHANGE IN MY BACKYARD: SEE FUNNY COMMENTS OF NIGERIANS ON RECOVERED $9.8M

It is no more news that the Ibrahim Magu led EFCC pulled a big one over the week with the recovery of hard currencies from the bunkers of former Group Managing Director of NNPC Andrew Yakubu. But trust Nigerians, the issue is still trending as it is different strokes to different folks. read various comments from Nigerians on the matter.A facebook user Chris sesan wrote "
The Efcc should do us a favor, from FFK to Yakubu
Oshodi is a bit safer but be that as it may they should drop this men under the bridge in ojuelegba, Bariga or Berger.Using the megaphone let the Efcc introduce them to the public for those that do not know who they are and what they have done. Then let them free us so we can help the Efcc complete the investigation as to how they acquired such huge funds and from who to what purpose."
Lere Olayinka, the SSA to controversial governor Ayo Fayose simply posted "Andrew Yakubu reminds me of Tafa Balogun..."
while on a whatsapp group, Biodun Borisade had this to say " Whao.. 51 SoLID years!!
$9.2 Million at parallel market exchange rate (NGN506/$ is NGN4,655,200,000.00.
If you spend NGN250,000.00 Per day, it will take you 51yrs to finish it."
But in a typical Nigeria, every happening must be given one political meaning or the other.
Bola Agboola in his facebook post actually defended Ex-president Goodluck Jonathan for taking the proactive step of sacking Andrew Yakubu then because of what was described as his "kleptomanic" tendencies. Bola was quicly carpeted by this post from a veteran journalist Simon Ateba

Simon Ateba "People who were protesting against Buhari the other day for poverty in the land might not have read that 9.8 million dollars were found in the house of the former oil company boss (GMD NNPC) who worked under Jonathan. Those same people, including the naive Tuface, often praise Jonathan and compare his administration with that of Buhari. They rarely admit that the Jonathan administration is a big part of the havoc. Along with his ministers, they emptied foreign reserves, and stole billions while oil was still selling well. They left virtually empty coffers and still have billions in their houses. The protesters should protest again and ask EFCC to arrest the former President and all the crooks in his administration if they really love Nigeria".
But the funniest of all is this is the contribution of Debola on CACOL ROUNDTABLE asking for the amputation of Andrew Yakubu's hand "*#OUR MUMUS NEVA DO#* I heard the organized labor has called for amputations of limbs of thieves - that's Shariah!
This means the labor is either attempting to Islamize PMB or Nigeria!
I swear by the Holy Scriptures, if Dr. Yakubu is amputated today, the other rogues will abandon their stolen wealth and run for leniency".
On another social media platform Osun Media and Allies Forum, Hon. Olawole Olayinka posits that "I believe Corruption in Nigeria isn't a "party" issue. It is a general issue. We as a people all have corrupt minds because of our beliefs that if you don't pack all you can while in office, you may be broke in few years after leaving office. Either "PDP" "ACN" "UBA" "APC" "APP" We are all corrupt. We need a revolution in this country. Someone that can shut down all the old and corrupt politicians...As a country, I think we need to start afresh. It is a pity."
