Breaking: Akeredolu Orders Immediate Reinstatement Of Akungba67
Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has ordered the immediate reinstatement of 67 illegally sacked Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba-Akoko workers.
The workers were sacked in 2013 by former governor Olusegun Mimiko,immediately after his second term bid scaled through.
The university then was superintendent by the immediate younger brother of the ex-governor Proffesor Femi Mimiko.
While various reasons were adduced by the management then to effect the sack of these workers, the main reason as touted was because the said staff refused to support the second term ambition of the then governor in 2012 and also in constant loggerhead with Proffesor Mimiko over his decisions in running the affairs of the University.
