Osun Babes To Get Improved Welfare Package - Laoye-Tomori


Osun State Deputy Governor, Mrs Titi Laoye-Tomori has assured the management and players of Osun Babes FC of better welfare packages as the Nigeria Women Premier League kicks on.

Mrs Laoye-Tomori was speaking as a special guest of honour at the osogbo city stadium where, Osun Babes hosted Pelican Stars in the week 2 encounter of the Nigeria Women Premier League (NWPL) in which goals from Anthony Esther and Edewor Precious gave the Omoluabi Queens the needed victory.

The deputy governor who expressed joy over the  victory recorded by the Omoluabi Queens in the first home game of the season, also charged them to be good ambassadors of the state.

" I am so happy about this result as the game was highly entertaining. I am happy we emerged victorious. This is just the beginning and I know with little or no time the team will end up winning the league"Laoye-Tomori told the club's media team.

" We need to encourage our girls and am glad they have been receiving their salaries regularly. We promise to do more on the welfare , because with what they played today they will go far and am sure the governor will be happy about this result.

Osun Babes FC now have three (3) points from their  two (2) games and will now face Confluence Queens in their next game on wednesday at the Lokoja Township Stadium.
