Dino's Recall: INEC Notifies Melaye, Outlines Verification Process

The Independent National Electoral Commission has acknowledged the receipt of petitions from the constituents of Senator Dino Melaye and has written to notify him of the development.

In a statement released by Mallam Mohammed Haruna  from the office of the chairman the statement says the commission has received petitions from voters in Kogi West senatorial District and has notified Dino Melaye.

The statement says further that the next step is to "verify that the petitioners are voters in Kogi West senatorial district".

INEC says it will on the 3rd of July publish the day, time and location of the said verification exercise.
