NWPL Transfer Window: Anjor Mary And Ayo Ojo Transfers To Osun Babes FC Completed.



Osun Babes FC will look to sign at least two players ahead of their second round campaign of the Nigeria Women Premier League.

Having already scouted some top players in the Nigeria Women Premier League, it is widely expected that the Omoluabi Queens will look to improve the scoring output of their side, who have scored 7 goals in 7 matches.

The Omoluabi Queens have already tipped former Abia Angels striker junior international Anjor Mary as their main target ahead of the second stanza of the Nigeria Women premier League.

The young forward who has agreed personal terms to join the Osogbo based club will surely be looking forward to forming a very good attacking partnerships with the likes Edewor Precious, Ikoyo Rejoice, Seun Atanda, Kesiena Ojiyovwi, Marcus Grace, Yetunde Oke and others.

The head coach of the Omoluabi Queens, Liadi Bashiru told the club's media and communication team that it has become necessary for the team to take advantage of the mid season transfer window to sign one or two players to fortify the team ahead of an arduous and rigorous second round they will be facing.

Liadi said former Abia Angels forward Mary Anjor and midfielder Ayo Ojo from a Lagos based team are in line to wear the "brown and yellow" shirt of the Omoluabi Queens come the second round of their NWPL campaign.

" It is true we won't be signing too many players in the mid season transfer window. I think we have a great team already and that's why we won't be signing so many players.

" We just want to keep our squad stable, while we strengthen where is possible. He said.

" We also want to do very well in the second round, as we need to continue with the same momentum we ended the first round of the league.

" I am very positive that the new additions will add values and compliment the efforts of the players we have in place.

Osun Babes FC ended their first round campaign of the Nigeria Women Premier League in fifth position with 10 points and have the same points with the teams in 4th and 3rd place respectively.

The second round of the Nigeria Women Premier League will commence on the 21st day of June 2017, with Osun Babes welcoming Saadatu Kolo Amazons FC of Minna at the Osogbo City Stadium.
