Osun Bye-election: Read Aregbesola's Anointed Candidate Hussein Letter of Disqualification

Ahead of the Osun Senatorial by-election, The APC screening committee has disqualified Senator Mudashir Hussein leaving only the younger brother of the later senator Isiaka Adeleke, Ademola Adeleke.

The screening committee in its letter said it disqualified Mudashir Hussein for being a cabinet member in Osun state contrary to the APC 2014 guidelines which provide " aspirants seeking public office on its platform shall not have remained an employee of the public service within 30 days proceeding".

Hussein was sworn in as the Commissioner for Cabinet matters by governor Rauf Aregbesola on May the 30th. 

But Hussein said he had resigned his appointment since June the 6th.

The screening committee headed by the speaker of the Zamfara state house of assembly,  Sanusi Rikiji said the Monday primary election will still hold and advised the disqualified aspirant to direct his displeasure to the appeal committee.

The camp of the disqualified Hussein is kicking against the guideline quoted by the committee.
