Osun state retirees, made good their promise to occupy Osogbo the state capital by trooping out for the second day consecutively to push home their demand for the payment of their pension arrears and gratuity.
The pensioners who arrived the Secretariat as early as eight o clock in the morning forced security officials to lock the Gate leading to the secretariat thereby making many civil servants to turn back home while others looked for alternative routes to the Secretariat.
Chairman of the pensioners, Mr Omoniyi Ilesanmi vowed to continue the streeet protest until their entitlements are paid by Mr Rauf Aregbesola led administration.
Mr Ilesanmi decried the insinuation that they are being sponsored to protest against Government urging stakeholders in the State to come to their aid.

The senior citizens however vow to block all routes to the state capital as from next week if their demands are not met by the state government this week.
