Salesgirl Shot Dead By Suspected Robbers In Osogbo

Residents of Abidogun area of Osogbo, in Osun state were Thursday evening thrown into mourning, as a middle-aged salesgirl was killed by two suspected armed robbers.

TIME NEWSNG reliably gathered that the girl was shot dead by her assailants who had waylaid her on her way to deliver money made from sales to her boss.

Witnesses told TIME NEWSNG that it appeared as if the girl was trailed to the area by her killers who were armed with a pistol gun.

It was further gathered that the action of the girl who had refused to hand over her money to the robbers may have angered one of them to pull the trigger and shot her dead.

The identity of the girl who some Witnesses say they know as 'Igede Girl', is yet to be identified.

Confirming the report, the police public relations office in the state command, Folasade Odoro said a pistol belonging to one of the robbers has been recovered

She assured that the perpetrators of the dastard act would be brought to book.
