Mumbai Building Collapse Death Toll Rises To 33

The number of people killed in a Mumbai building collapse has risen to 33, as rescuers still search for survivors beneath the rubble.
The condemned 117-year-old Hussain building collapsed following heavy rain in India's financial district and had 11 families living in it.
The number of missing is still unknown, but 46 people have been pulled from the rubble since the collapse early on Thursday morning.
"Rescue operations are continuing," said chief fire officer PS Rahangdale, adding that 14 fire and rescue officials had been injured in the effort.
"Fire engines, rescue vans and ambulances are still at the site," he said.
It is the second collapsed building in just over a month, which came as the city recovered from two days of floods caused by heavy monsoon rains.
The building was declared unsafe by authorities in 2011 but many residents stayed living there because they had not been given details of alternative housing, according to some residents.
Mumbai is India's most densely populated city, home to more than 24 million people, and has the most expensive real estate.
