W'Cup Qualifier:Cameroon Draw 1-1 Against Nigeria in Yaounde




The return match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in the ongoing FIFA World Cup qualifying series ended in 1-1 draw.

The match which was the second leg of the 4-nil victory recorded by the Super Eagles on Friday in Uyo was played at the  ahmadou Ahidjo stadium Yaoundé

Vincent Aboubakar's goal from the penalty spot in the 75th mints was all Cameroon needed to pick a point against Nigeria.

Moses Simon had earlier scored in the 30th minutes s following a cross in the 18yard box by victor moses,after Odion Ighalo dribbled pass Cameroonian defenders on the line.

With the result, Nigeria is first in Group B with 10points from four matches while the indomitables are 3rd with three points from four matches.

Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr told newsmen after the match his players played well and deserved maximum points

He described five time champions and reigning African champions Cameroon as a physically strong team.
