Ekiti Assembly Hopeful Tunde Akinlabi congratulates Muslims at Sallah

A front line house of Assembly Aspirant in Ido/Osi constituency-2 area of Ekiti state Mr. Olatunde Akinlabi has congratulated Muslims in the state as they join other faithfuls around the world to celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.


Akinlabi, in a Press statement issued by his Director of media and strategy, Mr. Lanre Ogunsanmi rejoiced with faithful especially Muslims in Ido/Osi Constituency II, on the celebration.


The Legislator hopeful, urged Muslims Ummah to embrace love, tolerance and sacrifice which are the core values of the festival.


Akinlabi further urged the Muslim faithfuls and adherents of other faiths in the country to continue to pray and work for the progress of our dear state, Ekiti and Nigeria at large which, according to him, needs divine intervention at this crucial moment of our national life.


He urged Muslims in Ekiti state to continually pray for the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari to enable him steer  the ship of the country to a safety harbour.


The House of Assembly hopeful particularly urged Nigerians to continue to raising their voices against any attempt to gag the press under any guise and acts inimical to the rule of law and good governance.


He however tasked journalists to continue to ply their trade in love with the ethics of the noble profession, while cautioning them to conduct their activities within the ambit of the law.
