Oyegun, Tinubu, Others Visit Akande Over Wife's Death

 The Ila Country home of the pioneer Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Bisi Akande played host to the who is who in the party, who were on a condolence visit to the elder stateman over the loss of his wife.

Among the early  callers were the national chairman of the party Chief Odigie Oyegun, a leader of the party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governors of Osun and Oyo Rauf Aregbesola and Abiola Ajimobi.

The wife of the APC leader, who was also a former Governor of Osun, Mrs Omowumi Akande died on Tuesday at the age of 73 in Ibadan.

Sympathizers have continued to throng the residence of Chief Akande to commiserate with the family on the death of the matriarch.
