"You Are Courting Trouble! Our Banners Must Not Be Vandalised"-Ojudu Replies Fayose

The Ekiti Rebirth Organisation, political platform of special adviser to president on political matters, Senator Babafemi Ojudu has taken Ekiti state governor Ayodele Fayose up on his posters, billboards removal order. The group alleged it is a ploy to destroy the campaign posters of Ojudy ahead his March 9th governorship deckarstion in Ado Ekiti.

"The attention of Ekiti Rebirth Organisation (ERO), has been drawn to a evil plan already being hatched by some anti - democratic forces to thwart the building popularity of our Lead Compatriot and again throw the already stressed State into avoidable anarchy. We have reliably gathered that a clandestine  move would be made tonight to destroy Senator Babafemi Ojudu's  (SBO), posters,  billboards and standing banners that currently adorn the state capital, Ado Ekiti.

We are miffed that this is happening despite  every peace entrities made to the state government as expressed in a letter of intent personally signed by SBO and addressed to the state governor, Ayodele Fayose, notifying and seeking cooperation ahead of the epochal May 9,2018 declaration.

We wish to express here that those who chose to make peaceful  relationship impossible should be prepared for sleepless, tortuous nights. We have a stake in this democracy and we will not blink our eyes to give in our all in its defence.

The intimidation posed by our entering the race as people with clear mission and the requisite wherewithal to liberate our people from chains and humiliation is clear. Since our loyalists awashed Ado Ekiti   with our standing banners,  posters and billboards the wailing and gnashing of teeth have hightened astronomically. We have received letters demanding for fee on our displayed  materials to which we responded that they should forward our bills for payment .
Rather than accede,  they went subterranean, dishing out ill - gotten money to their hatchet men to hide under the cover of the night to perpetrate evil.
But they will not succeed. We will confront them, we will prevent them and use every legal means to humble them to sanity.

This democracy has come to stay. We shall not allow the pigs of democracy pollute its waters from which Nigerians are gradually drinking. We will not fold our arms to allow illegality berth in Ekiti State again. Others have been holding rallies to declare their intention to run for the coming elections. Others have been littering the streets with posters and billboards. Ours shall not be an exception.
